The largest liger, named Hercules, weighed up to 922 pounds, already reaching 900 pounds at the age of three. He’s actually on the Guinness world record for this. Considering that an average tiger only weighs about 400 to 420 pounds, you can see that these carnivores far outgrow their own parents. Ligers reach a total length of 10 to 12 feet, 6 feet in height. Maybe, liger’s growth is one of evidence of their predecessor were giants.
